Hello!
We are Mikey and Jon. We don't hide who we are. We met back in August of 2015 and started dating on September 2015. On our 1 year anniversary of dating Mikey proposed to Jon (aww) and we got Married the following year in October. This year (2022) will be 7 years together and 5 years married and we couldn't be happier. Our Fur Daughters Stella (Lab mix) and Topanga (Hound mix) are the lights of our life and we hope to get them another sister at some point!
We started the Crafty Guys Journey in 2018 when Jon wanted a Cricut. At the time he was knitting beanies (we still have a ton of yarn he needs to use!) to sell at a craft fair to fund his Cricut. Shortly after he got his cricut he decided to dive into the world of Tumblers and that led to making shirts. Mikey on the other has always loved to craft and make cute things from nothing. As a matter of fact, most of our home decor is things he has created.
When COVID hit in March 2020 we weren't sure what was going to happen. Mikey's job closed and luckily Jon was still working. So to take up his free time he just started crafting more and posting it in different craft groups on FB. Finally he worked up the nerve to do a live and had an AMAZING turn out! He had the support of some big crafters that sent people his way and quickly it became something he loved to do. The love and support that we have received from everyone had been amazing and making all of this possible and we wouldn't be here launching our online store if it wasn't for all of you!
